<p>Overview</p> <p>The Vascular and Imaging Services Registered Nurse (RN) will assume responsibility and accountability for infants, children, adults, and geriatric patients who undergo PICC line placement, bronchoscopies, biopsies and other radiology testing procedures. The Vascular Access and Imaging Services RN is a nurse who has received specialized training in Peripherally-Inserted Central Catheter (PICC) placement, and has demonstrated competency and expertise in vascular access. The RN should exhibit multi-tasking capabilities and be able perform a wide-range of radiological procedures. The RN will utilize the nursing process in the provision of care and will practice within the scope of the Nurse Practice Act of the State of Arkansas and adhere to policies, procedures, and standards of Conway Regional Medical Center. The RN will demonstrate a commitment to teamwork through effective collaborative efforts.</p> <p>SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITION:</p> <p>This position is a designated as "Safety Sensitive Position" under Act 593 of the State of Arkansas. An employee who is under the influence of Marijuana constitutes a threat to patients/customers which Conway Regional is responsible for in providing and supporting the delivery health care related services.</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Registered nurse with current active Arkansas license </li><li>BSN preferred </li><li>If less than one year experience as a Registered Nurse, must obtain a BSN degree within 4 years of hire. </li><li>Certification Preferred </li><li>Completion of moderate sedation competency per CRMC policy </li><li>Proof of high school or equivalent higher education </li><li>Successful completion of Cardiac Dysrythmia interpretation class </li><li>Successful completion of American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and American Academy of Pediatricians Pediatric Advanced Life Support classes prior to independence from preceptor </li></ul>
