Most Chick-fil-A restaurants are locally owned and operated by independent, franchised Operators who invest in the future of their Team Members and give back to their communities.</p> <p>Position Summary:</p> <p>The Kitchen Director role is the organizational leader who sustainably grows the health of the local brand and restaurant with a focus on the Back of House Team.</p> <p>Key Job Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Embodies restaurant and company mission and vision </li><li>Creates long-term organizational goals for growth with DOO </li><li>Communicates mission, vision and goals to organization and team </li><li>Assesses food safety and quality regularly and creates & owns systems and processes that support improvement. </li><li>Maintains equipment & supply ordering </li><li>Regularly explores pathways updates & ensures team is aligned </li><li>Plans long-term employee development and team growth </li><li>Builds intentional relationships encouraging two-way dialogue </li><li>Motivates team to achieve departmental goals </li><li>Completes interviews for department </li><li>Coaches Managers primarily to coach and develop Supervisors </li><li>Conducts weekly Manager meetings or 1-on-1's </li><li>Conducts leadership development as needed to grow talent pipeline </li><li>Facilitates and innovates organizational training and development plans for continuous improvement and growth </li><li>Analyzes monthly business trends (FCR, IPO, Food Cost, Labor Cost, Data) </li><li>Analyzes and utilizes customer metrics (CEM, Servicepoint) </li><li>Analyzes daily and weekly data (Hotschedules, Cares) </li><li>Analyzes monthly data (Food Cost, Labor Cost, Budgets) </li><li>Analyzes quarterly and weekly business trends </li><li>Tracks waste </li><li>Creates long-term plans to drive results </li><li>Creates long-term plans to achieve organizational goals </li><li>Creates and stewards focused space to accomplish projects and operations work </li><li>Leads and champions organizational change and innovation </li><li>Creates streamline systems for LEAN efficiency </li><li>Coordinates projects for implementing systems with team </li><li>Other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Essential Functions:</p> <ul> <li>Fluent English </li><li>Ability to stand for long periods of time </li><li>Ability to lift 30+ lbs regularly </li><li>Serv-safe Certified </li></ul> <p>Working at a Chick-fil-A restaurant is more than a job - it's an opportunity for teamwork and leadership development in a positive, people-focused environment.
