<p>The Altenheim is now seeking a Director of Social Services. We offer daily and weekly pay and great benefits!</p> <p>About the Role</p> <p>The Social Services Director at Altenheim plays a crucial role in overseeing the delivery of social services to residents, ensuring their emotional, psychological, and social needs are met. This position involves developing and implementing programs that enhance the quality of life for residents, while also ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The director will lead a team of social workers and support staff, providing guidance and support to foster a collaborative environment. Additionally, the role requires building strong relationships with families, community organizations, and healthcare providers to create a comprehensive support network. Ultimately, the Social Services Director is responsible for promoting the well-being and dignity of all residents, making a significant impact on their overall experience at Altenheim.</p> <p>Job Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Develop and implement social service programs tailored to the needs of residents. </li><li>Supervise and support a team of social workers and support staff. </li><li>Conduct assessments to identify residents' needs and create individualized care plans. </li><li>Collaborate with families, healthcare providers, and community organizations to ensure comprehensive support. </li><li>Monitor compliance with state and federal regulations regarding social services. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) or a related field. </li><li>Valid state licensure as a social worker. </li><li>Minimum of 5 years of experience in social services, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Experience working in a long-term care or senior living environment. </li><li>Knowledge of gerontology and the unique needs of elderly populations. </li><li>Familiarity with regulatory compliance in social services. </li></ul> <p>Skills</p> <p>The required skills for this role include strong leadership abilities, which are essential for guiding a team and fostering a positive work environment. Excellent communication skills are vital for effectively interacting with residents, families, and external partners.
