<p>Description</p> <p>Job Overview:</p> <p>As a Food Runner, you'll be responsible for opening and closing procedures, table service, food prep, cleaning, cash handling and inventory.</p> <p>Your Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Take orders and deliver food and drinks, answer questions regarding menu and drink selections. </li><li>Work closely with wait, bar staff and kitchen to ensure the restaurant is operated efficiently. </li><li>Prepare restaurant for lunch / dining by setting decorations, condiments, napkins and utensils </li><li>Maintaining the appearance and cleanliness of the bar area, replacing kegs. </li><li>Protect establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation, safety and alcohol beverage control policies </li><li>Other duties as required. </li></ul> <p>Skills & Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>GED or High School Diploma </li><li>At least 1 year kitchen experience </li><li>Excellent verbal communication skills required </li><li>Knowledgeable of proper food handling procedures </li><li>Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills required. </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to lift 30 - 50 lbs. </li><li>Work in an upright standing or sitting position for long periods of time. </li><li>Reach with hands and arms. </li><li>Communicate, receive, and exchange ideas and information by means of the spoken and written word. </li></ul> <p>Supervisory Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>No supervisory responsibilities </li></ul> <p>Additional Information</p> <p>Schedule - Varies - Days, Evenings, Weekends, Holidays, Open Availability</p> <p>Compensation: $20.00 per hour</p> <p>Disclaimer Statement</p> <p>This is not an all-inclusive job description; therefore, management has the right to assign or reassign schedules, duties, and responsibilities to this job at any time.</p>
