This role ensures that all outdoor areas are safe, attractive, and well-maintained, supporting resident satisfaction, regulatory compliance, and organizational standards.</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Lead, assign, and oversee daily work activities of groundskeeping staff </li><li>Provide hands-on supervision, coaching, and training to ensure high-quality work </li><li>Oversee routine landscaping activities including mowing, trimming, pruning, planting, mulching, and seasonal cleanup </li><li>Ensure walkways, parking areas, entrances, and outdoor common areas are safe and visually appealing </li><li>Coordinate snow removal, ice management, and storm preparedness activities as needed </li><li>Identify and address hazards that could impact resident or staff safety </li><li>Assist with irrigation system maintenance and minor repairs </li><li>Support emergency response efforts as required (e.g., severe weather events) </li></ul> <p>Education & Experience</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or GED required </li><li>Minimum of 3-5 years of groundskeeping or landscaping experience </li><li>Prior supervisory or lead experience strongly preferred </li><li>Experience in healthcare, senior living, hospitality, or large-campus environments preferred </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Skills & Abilities</p> <ul> <li>Strong working knowledge of landscaping practices, equipment, and safety procedures </li><li>Ability to lead by example and work hands-on alongside staff </li><li>Effective communication and interpersonal skills </li><li>Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions </li></ul> <p>Our benefits and workplace flexibility are top-notch and include:</p> <ul> <li>Competitive Pay </li><li>Professional Development and Advancement opportunities </li><li>Health, Dental, & Life Insurance </li><li>401(k) plans with generous match </li><li>Tuition Reimbursement </li><li>Daily Pay </li><li>On-Shift scheduling </li></ul> <p>Your Work Matters!
