<p>Ocean View School District of Orange County</p> <p>See attachment on original job posting</p> <p>University Intern Credentials, Provisional Internship, Short-Term Staff Permit will be considered</p> <p>Basic Functions:Under the supervision of the school principal, the SDC Teacher provides direct instruction and support services as specified in the Individualized Education Program (IEP) for the special education pupils identified.</p> <p>EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:</p> <p>Education:• Valid California Credential, authorizing service to Moderate/Severe (or Extensive Support Needs) special needs students is required;• Possession of valid, current CPR and First Aid certification is required or obtain within two months of employment;• EL authorization or equivalent is required;• Autism Spectrum Authorization;• Multiple or Single Subject credential is preferred;• Master's Degree in Education or related field is preferred;</p> <p>Experience:• Two years working with severely handicapped or moderate/severe students is preferred;• Recent successful experience working with children with special needs and willingness to work with staff members and management in a collaborative manner.</p> <p>Current Openings:• The district currently has two new Extensive Support Needs classes opening at Hope View Elementary School (grades 1-3) and Lake View Elementary School (grades 1-3) for the 2025/2026 school year.
