We know, it's rare, but we actually like each other and enjoy going to work.</p> <p>If this appeals to you, please keep reading!</p> <p>Responsibilities of the Position</p> <ul> <li> <p>Prepares payroll for hourly/field employees for all companies</p> </li><li> <p>Currently we have five companies totaling around 300 employees, but we are a quickly growing group of companies, so this will increase/fluctuate.</p> </li><li> <p>Verifies timecards, PTO, job cost codes, union rates, etc.</p> </li><li> <p>Enters reimbursements and other payroll items</p> </li><li> <p>Processes wages according to prevailing wage jobs when applicable</p> </li><li> <p>Processes garnishments in the payroll system and answers garnishment information requests</p> </li><li> <p>Processes all compensation changes for field employees</p> </li><li> <p>Completes employment verifications</p> </li><li> <p>Calculates union dues on time</p> </li><li> <p>Processes and submits payroll reports including certified payroll, LCP tracker input, OCIP, CCIP, Ohio I-29s, etc.</p> </li><li> <p>Completes job closeout affidavits when jobs are complete and payroll reporting is no longer required</p> </li><li> <p>Completes offboarding tasks such as terminating users' HRIS/payroll profiles</p> </li><li> <p>Other duties as assigned.</p> </li></ul> <p>Experience & Skills</p> <ul> <li> <p>High school diploma or GED required</p> </li><li> <p>1-3 years of payroll processing experience required</p> </li><li> <p>Experience working in HRIS/Accounting systems required</p> </li><li> <p>Experience working with Lumber payroll, Acumatica, and/or BambooHR highly preferred</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with prevailing wage/union reporting highly preferred</p> </li><li> <p>Experience working for a union construction company highly preferred</p> </li><li> <p>Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, & Word) required</p> </li><li> <p>Strong attention to detail and organizational skills required</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work independently with minimal supervision required</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to speak Spanish is a plus, but not required</p> </li></ul> <p>So here you are - you read the entire job post!</p> <p>In case this is the 51st job post you've looked at today, let me assure you - I won't make you painstakingly type in all your resume details like many places do.
