The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>IMPORTANT: This position will work at the Manheim Tampa TRA location at 5109 Cone Rd Tampa, FL 33610</p> <p>Job Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Organize and maintain the placement of vehicles within the designated zone or move area to the defined standard established by lot operations leadership.</p> </li><li> <p>Removed company logos, decals, and wraps from fleet vehicles, ensuring clean and damage-free surfaces for resale or reuse.</p> </li><li> <p>Input accurate vehicle information for registration into the system using a handheld computer (Zebra TC) for each vehicle received at the Auction.</p> </li><li> <p>Place work order numbers and routing labels on vehicles upon entry. Flag "no key" cars.</p> </li><li> <p>Move vehicles and stage them in a safe arrangement for the upcoming sale and pick-up.</p> </li><li> <p>Confirm that all vehicles can operate safely and inform forklift operators when inoperable vehicles are found.</p> </li><li> <p>Label vehicles with sale and routing labels to maintain accurate movements.</p> </li><li> <p>Set an example in behavior by championing Cox/Manheim values and ensuring that all employees are treated with respect.</p> </li><li> <p>Be a visible representation of Manheim's safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures, and modeling the behaviors related to these directives.</p> </li><li> <p>Perform other duties as assigned by management.</p> </li><li> <p>May be required to work overtime as business needs dictate.</p> </li><li></li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>High School Diploma/GED and 3 years' experience in a related field.</p> </li><li> <p>OR the right candidate could also have a different combination, such as any level degree/certification beyond a HS diploma/GED in a related discipline and up to 1 year of experience;</p> </li><li> <p>OR 5 years' experience in a related field.</p> </li><li> <p>Safe drivers needed; valid driver's license required.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmission.</p> </li><li> <p>Basic mechanical knowledge of identifying (i.e., flat tires, low gas, jump starting vehicles.)</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to lift 1-15 pounds.</p> </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Required to stand, walk, reach, talk and hear, vision abilities required to include close, distance and color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to lift 1-15 pounds.</p> </li><li> <p>Must be able to walk long distances.</p> </li></ul> <p>Work Environment:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Constant exposure to outdoor weather conditions.</p> </li><li> <p>Moderate noise level.</p> </li></ul> <p>Drug Testing</p> <p>To be employed in this role, you'll need to clear a pre-employment drug test. Cox Automotive does not currently administer a pre-employment drug test for marijuana for this position. However, we are a drug-free workplace, so the possession, use or being under the influence of drugs illegal under federal or state law during work hours, on company property and/or in company vehicles is prohibited.</p> <p>Benefits</p> <p>Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
