<p>Pay based on experience | First Shift</p> <p>In this fast-paced, high-energy environment where attention to detail is essential, how do we ensure our facilities' maintenance is kept up and looking good. As a Mechanical Project Manager, you will oversee skilled mechanical projects throughout the hotel and casino while ensuring all safety policies, procedures, and regulations are followed. While carrying out the job duties listed below, you will contribute to our continued success by demonstrating unsurpassed guest service, a high level of integrity and ethical standards, and personal and professional dedication to our mission, vision, and values.</p> <p>Principal Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential Functions)</p> <ul> <li>Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables; manage schedules, budgets, and resources from bid to closeout </li><li>Supervise design, installation, and maintenance of mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, piping) </li><li>Prepare project scope for bidding, manage billings, track costs, estimate change orders, </li><li>Provide guidance, assistance, and mentorship to Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning Technicians and Plumbers. </li><li>Ensure adherence to safety regulations, building codes, and quality standards; manage documentation (submittals, O&M manuals). </li><li>Provide recommendations regarding the needs of the mechanical systems for the company properties including identifying items needing repair or replacement. Obtain or develop cost estimates and prioritize so they can be phased in to the operating plan and budgets; Supervise outside contractors. </li><li>Compile future mechanical capital project budgets. </li><li>Develop and monitor filter change out schedule with the HVAC Mechanical Controls Supervisor to ensure replacements are completed as needed </li><li>Maintain facility department mechanical standards for the casino & hotel </li><li>Make sure mechanical masters plans stay up to date. </li><li>Write and distribute Request for Proposals to solicit bids necessary for project evaluation. </li><li>Ensure adherence to Occupational Safety and Health Administration safety requirements. </li><li>Perform job duties in full compliance with departmental Internal Controls, policies, procedures, and regulations. </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Job Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>An associate's degree in a related field and 5 years of related experience in a facility of similar size are required. A bachelor's degree in a related field can take the place of 2 years of experience. </li><li>Two years of supervisory experience is preferred. </li><li>Office skills must include the ability to use standard office equipment and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office. Experience with AutoCAD is required. </li><li>The ability to maintain discretion in handling confidential information. </li><li>The ability to interact with stakeholders of all levels and understand the interests of multiple stakeholders and how those interests relate to PH&C and its goals. </li><li>The ability to work irregular hours and extended shifts including late nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays. </li><li>While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to talk, hear, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, stand, and move for duration of scheduled shift. The team member is frequently required to use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms. The team member must be able to operate a personal computer. The team member may occasionally be required to lift or move objects up to 25 pounds on a regular basis and up to 50 pounds occasionally. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. </li></ul> <p>Working Conditions</p> <p>The noise level is usually moderate to loud. When on the casino floor, the noise level increases. The facility is not smoke free.
