If youre a contracts savvy attorney who brings solid judgment, a collaborative mindset, and good energy to the table wed love to hear from you.</p> <p>Apply today or contact Katie.Barreau@etcconnect.com with questions.</p> <p>A complete job description is below.</p> <p>Representative Responsibilities:</p> <p>Assists the General Counsel and the Managing Associate General Counsel with the following:</p> <p>Develop and implement processes, templates, and best practices to support ETCs global business operations</p> <p>Assess business transactions and operations to minimize legal and business risks for ETCs global business operations</p> <p>Drafting, negotiating, and maintaining a variety of business agreements for ETCs global business operations</p> <p>Monitor legal and regulatory developments relevant to ETCs business and assist in translating those developments into practical compliance guidance and processes</p> <p>Acquisitions and strategic partnership development</p> <p>Coordinate external legal resources as needed</p> <p>Assist with the maintenance of ETCs global IP portfolio</p> <p>Other duties as assigned.</p> <p>Special projects and requests are completed in a timely and positive fashion.</p> <p>Ability to travel when necessary</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <p>Bachelors degree</p> <p>Juris doctorate degree from an accredited law school</p> <p>Good standing as a member of the Wisconsin State Bar (or the ability to become a member)</p> <p>2-5 years legal experience with a global manufacturing company, corporate law, or related practice(s)</p> <p>Excellent negotiation, research, and legal drafting skills</p> <p>Ability to manage a broad and varied portfolio of legal matters in a fast-moving business environment</p> <p>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and prioritize competing requests</p> <p>Demonstrated ability to be organized, identify and mitigate risk, problem solve, and offer creative and practical solutions</p> <p>Computer skills required. Experience with a cloud-based contract system is preferred</p>
