In this role, you will maintain system knowledge and expertise and support technology optimization within the Commercial Supply Chain and Sales & Marketing functions. You will be responsible for analyzing business priorities and needs, evaluating current and future technology capabilities, capturing business and system requirements, and ensuring the effective delivery of systems across multiple, global regions. This role plays a vital part in driving operational efficiency and aligning Commercial processes with corporate and global standards.</p> <p>Your Role Will Consist Of</p> <p>Here's a snapshot of your day-to-day responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Serve as a systems subject matter expert in Commercial Supply Chain (Sourcing, Procurement, Category Management) and Sales & Marketing. </li><li>Partner with the broader CoE-BI team and region stakeholders to assess ongoing business priorities, objectives, needs, and gaps. </li><li>Evaluate and document business and system requirements to meet needs for Commercial ERP systems and reporting tools (e.g., SAP S/4 HANA, SAP Ariba, Power BI). </li><li>Manage and execute Unit Acceptance Testing (UAT) in coordination with Regional business users, IT Engagement teams, and Quality Assurance teams. </li><li>Maintain thorough understanding of Production environments for SAP S4 Hana, SAP Ariba, Fieldglass including workflows, customizations, integrations, and dependencies. </li><li>Collaborate with IT teams and stakeholders to align on system capabilities, design, requirements, and deployment </li><li>Drive management and resolution for Commercial system enhancements and incidents in liaison with IT Engagement teams and external consultants in ERP. </li><li>Provide post-go live support (hypercare) to ensure Commercial systems are working as expected and manage the prioritization and resolution of issues identified. </li><li>Partner with Commercial Improvement and Change & Knowledge Management teams to align on business impacts related to system optimization efforts </li><li>Conduct root cause analysis on inefficiencies in Commercial Systems and processes, identifying improvement opportunities in collaboration with stakeholders. </li><li>Support cross functional coordination and alignment with related systems and modules: Asset Management, Finance, HR Systems, etc. </li><li>Engage with stakeholders to benchmark best practices, support knowledge sharing sessions, and develop business cases and implementation plans for improvements. </li></ul> <p>Your Training, Skills, and Experience Checklist</p> <p>What We're Looking For</p> <p>Education and Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Undergraduate degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, IT, or related field. </li><li>Experience in Commercial Supply Chain and Sales & Marketing within mining, construction, utilities, or other heavy industries. </li><li>Deep understanding of software development lifecycles, process improvement, request management processes, and requirements gathering and management. </li></ul> <p>Technical Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Proficiency in SAP, SAP Ariba, and tools such as Smartsheet, MS Excel, Power BI, Tableau, and Visio. </li><li>Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and develop actionable insights. </li><li>Practical experience in training facilitation and process documentation. </li><li>Knowledge of Commercial end-to-end processes and ERP system optimization. </li></ul> <p>Capabilities:</p> <ul> <li>Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. </li><li>Effective communication and presentation skills. </li><li>Team collaboration, self-awareness, and a commitment to continuous improvement. </li></ul> <p>Working Conditions</p> <p>This position may be based at a Newmont Denver corporate office with a flexible or hybrid work model. The salary range is tied to the Colorado market for jobs performed in Colorado. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience.
