Preparing weekly/quarterly regulatory reporting schedules. Individual must have advanced knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Perform accounting activities, including the preparation, maintenance, and reconciliation of general ledger accounts and journal entries.</p> </li><li> <p>Verify accuracy of journal entries, account balances, and accounting classifications within various reports.</p> </li><li> <p>Perform weekly and quarterly regulatory reporting schedules.</p> </li><li> <p>Prepare analytical reviews of financial statements during closing process.</p> </li><li> <p>Identify areas in the organization for process improvement opportunities</p> </li><li> <p>Work closely with loan accounting colleagues and various other departments</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrate flexibility in handling multiple tasks</p> </li></ul> <p>Skills & Experience:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor's degree in accounting</p> </li><li> <p>Financial services industry experience preferred</p> </li><li> <p>Must demonstrate attention to detail in a fast-paced work environment</p> </li><li> <p>Must be able to communicate effectively with colleagues and others across the organization</p> </li><li> <p>Advanced knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office is required</p> </li></ul> <p>The estimated base salary range for this position is $75,000 USD to $95,000 USD. Actual salary may vary up or down depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
