<p>Hiring Department</p> <p>The Thompson Center</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>The Thompson Center is seeking dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to join our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). This innovative program provides short-term, high-frequency treatment for children and adolescents on the autism spectrum who engage in behaviors that significantly impact daily life.</p> <p>Working under the close supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), RBTs in the IOP provide individualized, evidence-based interventions to promote safety, support communication and independence, and support families across settings.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Implement individualized behavior intervention and skill acquisition plans as designed by the supervising BCBA </li><li>Manage and respond to challenging behavior using safe and ethical procedures </li><li>Collect accurate, real-time data on behaviors and skill development </li><li>Support caregivers during training sessions and aid in the generalization of new skills </li><li>Maintain a clean, organized, and safe treatment environment </li><li>Prepare session materials and participate in daily team debriefings </li><li>Uphold the dignity, safety, and well-being of clients at all times </li></ul> <p>Program Highlights</p> <ul> <li>Clients attend 3-hour sessions, 5 days a week, for approximately 16 weeks </li><li>Services are delivered in-clinic </li><li>Treatment is based on functional assessments and grounded in evidence-based practices (e.g., Functional Communication Training, Skill-Based Treatment) </li><li>Sessions are structured and adapted to each individual's learning style and needs </li><li>Ongoing team collaboration, supervision, and professional development provided daily </li></ul> <p>What Makes This Role Unique</p> <ul> <li>Serve clients with high support needs and contribute to meaningful progress </li><li>Enjoy strong team support, daily collaboration, and direct BCBA supervision </li><li>Be part of a program that values safety, teamwork, and family-centered care </li></ul> <p>Shift</p> <p>Variable hours</p> <p>Monday - Friday</p> <p>8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <p>High School Diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired is necessary.</p> <p>One year experience in health management or program administration is required.</p> <p>Anticipated Hiring Range</p> <p>Salary Range: $18.00 - $20.00 hourly</p> <p>Grade: PAT - 3A</p> <p>University Title: HLTH PRGM AST</p> <p>Internal applicants can determine their university title by accessing the Talent Profile tile in myHR.</p> <p>Application Materials</p> <p>In addition to the Online Application, please provide a Resume/CV.</p> <p>Benefit Eligibility</p> <p>This position is not eligible for University benefits.
