<p>General</p> <p>Reporting to the President and CFO, the Capital Markets Director is mainly responsible for the capital markets, securitization, rating agencies, banking relationships, meeting with and maintaining investor relations, manage and negotiate all warehouse and term financing, and 144(a) securitizations. Ability to execute a securitization from start to finish and understand all the facets of the process. The position also leads the financial planning and forecasting, including the ability to calculate financial covenants prior to and after the culmination of the securitization.</p> <p>On a secondary basis, the position assists the CFO on annual audits, regulatory or bank exams, technical accounting issues or other specialized financial accounting issues. The Capital Markets Director also assists the President on special projects as needed.</p> <p>Job Duties</p> <p>Lead and take full control of the capital markets and securitization functions under the direction of the President and CFO. The Capital Markets Director is the liaison between the Company and all partners in the securitization process including bankers, investors, rating agencies, accountants and vendors. Also, maintain and update corporate investor relation materials, plan, coordinate and take part in regular bank meeting and roadshows. Oversee or prepare accurate and timely monthly securitization service reports and other lending reports as required. Be a lead user as well as develop and maintain reporting from Moody's Analytics KI software.</p> <p>The Capital Markets Director is also responsible for the oversight of the daily review and accuracy of the loan data within the servicing system and compliance with Company lending policies. The results of the daily reviews are discussed with management for training and corrective action. Own and maintain the creation and updating of the long-term forecast and periodic budgets including cash management.</p> <p>Assist accounting department with monthly financial reporting, year-end external audit, and other regulatory exams.</p> <p>Prepare ad hoc reports and projects in conjunction with the Information Technology and Accounting departments. Work with IT on new software for securitization or accounting use.</p> <p>Identify, recommend, and implement financial solutions or structures to improve cash flow or reduce costs.</p> <p>Supervise an analyst in the day-to-day securitization transactions including the transfer of restricted cash and monthly bank and securitization reports and review of all booked loans.</p> <p>Competencies</p> <p>Analytical- Collects maintains and analyzes complex information and data.</p> <p>Technical skills- Advanced MS Excel software. Strong database management skills. Ability to learn and utilize Moody's Analytics securitization software. Knowledge of auto lending. Candidate should have prior automobile finance industry experience, capital markets and investment banking related to auto loan securitization. Ability to understand lending agreements, financial covenants, legal terms and conditions, and be able to evaluate according to business needs and conditions.</p> <p>Oral Communications- Excellent oral communication skills and ability to speak clearly and precisely in discussing complex topics.</p> <p>Written Communication- Writes clearly, informatively and detailed based on the level and needs of the intended recipients.</p> <p>Cost Conscious- Works within budgets and looks for cost saving actions or measures.</p> <p>Professionalism- Approaches others with tact and reacts well under pressure.</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field required.</p> <p>Experience in Auto Finance Capital Markets strongly preferred.</p>
