<p>R.J. Corman is seeking safety minded Locomotive Engineers to join our team in Osceola, AR.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Assists in all phases of the safe daily operation of trains. </li><li>Operates equipment according to company policies, procedures, and practices. </li><li>Will operate track switches, couple cars and work on trains in yard operations. </li><li>Will move and align various parts of rail equipment to create or build trains. </li><li>Multi-tasking - must be able to perform several tasks safely that will require pulling, controlling, and maneuvering onto and off of equipment. </li><li>Work with customers to ensure accurate movement and placement of cars </li><li>Increasing responsibilities expected and required, including the ability to handle Conductor duties. </li><li>Performs other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Job Requirements: Must be safety-minded and have basic reading and math skills. Must have the ability to develop teamwork and work with all levels of personnel in achieving train-handling objectives. Must be able to give and receive instructions over radio.</p> <p>Physical Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Able to perform physical strenuous work </li><li>Requires constant standing, walking, climbing stairs and ladders, and balancing in a safe manner </li><li>Requires frequent stooping, kneeling, and crouching </li><li>Able to lift and carry objects weighing up to 80lbs </li><li>Able to push and pull with up to 150lbs of force </li><li>Performs duties in primarily outside environments, in and around moving locomotives, railcars, vehicles, and equipment. Frequent exposure to weather elements. </li><li>Must be able to successfully pass background, drug test, and physical capacity test. </li></ul> <p>Benefits: R.J.
