Economic success and corporate responsibility are inextricably linked.</p> <p>Symrise - always inspiring more...</p> <ol> <li>Project Management: 40% </li></ol> <ul> <li>Lead end-to-end commercialization projects throughout the product development lifecycle. </li><li>Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies, and obtain alignment from all stakeholders and accurate based on the project and customer's complexities. </li><li>Drive stage-gate processes, ensuring proper documentation, approvals, and milestone tracking. </li><li>Identify and resolve project risks, bottlenecks, and technical challenges proactively. </li><li>Ensure compliance with regulatory, food safety, and quality standards. </li></ul> <ol start="2"> <li>Internal Engagement & Communication: 30%. </li></ol> <ul> <li>Communicate project status, risks, and key updates to stakeholders and leadership. </li><li>Connect and coordinate cross-functional teams including Sales, Supply Chain, Regulatory, Quality, Product Development, Operations, Procurement to ensure seamless execution. </li><li>Partner with R&D to translate product concepts into scalable, manufacturable solutions. </li><li>Collaborate with Supply Chain to ensure raw material sourcing, packaging, production capacity/capabilities, and logistics readiness. </li></ul> <ol start="3"> <li>External Engagement with Suppliers: 10% </li></ol> <ul> <li>Connect and coordinate external teams including Customers, Packaging Suppliers, Ingredient Suppliers, Graphic Design Agency, to ensure seamless execution </li></ul> <ol start="4"> <li>Customer Interactions and Production Trials: 10% </li></ol> <ul> <li>Meet with customers, when necessary, especially for project kick-offs and ensure that customers' expectations are in line with our in-house capabilities, technology and capacities. </li><li>Oversee pilot trials, plant trials, and first production runs, ensuring product meet customer expectations. </li></ul> <ol start="5"> <li>Continuous Improvement Efficiencies and PM KPIs: 10% </li></ol> <ul> <li>Postproduction review for long-term setup and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance commercialization processes and speed-to-market. </li><li>Track project management KPIs as defined with line manager. </li><li>Bachelor's degree, preferably in Food Science, Engineering, Business or related field (Master's preferred) </li><li>5+ years of experience in project management, commercialization, manufacturing, or product development within the beverage or CPG industry. (Supply Chain is a plus) </li><li>Project Management Certification, Training or valid Qualifications.* </li><li>Proven experience managing projects from concept through manufacturing and launch. </li><li>Strong knowledge of beverage production processes, ingredients, and packaging formats. </li><li>Experience working in cross-functional, matrixed organizations. </li><li>Costing, Batch Sizing and Pricing experience a plus. </li><li>Experience with ERP/PLM systems a plus </li><li>Basic understanding of regulatory requirements (FDA, labeling, food safety standards) a plus </li><li>Experience in beverage categories such as carbonated drinks, juices, functional beverages, or alcohol </li></ul> <p>Become part of our open and transparent culture.
