To support employees, we provide free therapy visits, mental health coaching and tools, and meditation resources. You’ll also enjoy a generous paid time off package that includes not only vacation and sick time, but also Wellness and Volunteer Time Off days. </p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li> <p>Perform low to medium level complexity testing, troubleshooting and repairing of defective computer systems.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensures contents and specs of refurbished and repaired items are validated for completeness and high quality of work.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensures refurbished and repaired items meet customer, manufacturer and industry standards upon completion.</p> </li><li> <p>Receives returned inventory into the Refurbishment Lab and assists with location management (put-away) and auditing of Refurbished items in warehouse locations.</p> </li><li> <p>Attains required certifications (CompTIA A+ and manufacturers certifications).</p> </li><li> <p>Ensures all assigned training courses are completed in a timely fashion.</p> </li><li> <p>Performs all other duties or special projects as assigned.</p> </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Degree Required: High School or equivalency. </li><li>Certifications, Licenses or Registrations required, if any: CompTIA A+ Certification (to be obtained within 6 months of hire date) </li><li>Operating knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Linux and Apple operating systems. </li><li>Technology certifications with the ability to obtain CompTIA A+ certification within 6 months of the hire date. </li><li>Technical aptitude with ability to absorb and apply newly learned technical skills. </li><li>Strong knowledge of, and the ability to identify components and software used in computers. </li><li>Attention to details in testing and refurbishing products. </li><li>Some hands-on experience with repair or configuration of computer systems. </li><li>Technology reading comprehension with ability to read basic work instruction documents or schematics. </li><li>Technology troubleshooting and mechanical skills. </li><li>Adaptable with ability to switch tasks based on shifting priorities. </li><li>Interpersonal and communication skills with ability to work well with all levels of the organization. </li><li>Detail oriented with item-by-item focus, meticulous attention to detail with ability to proofread for accuracy. </li><li>Good listening skills with ability to receive information completely and understand what is being said. </li></ul> <p>Because of the possibility for fraudulent job postings on many popular job boards, please be advised that Connection will never offer a position of employment without a complete interview process and communication with a “live person."</p>
