<p>Responsible for bookkeeping and clerical work in the Business Operations and Community Outreach Division of the Environmental Resources Management Department. This position is part of a team providing fiscal and administrative support, primarily in the areas of payroll/human resources (i.e., hiring, on-boarding, Family and Medical Leave Act [FMLA], etc.), purchasing, revenue receipting/reconciliation, fixed assets, petty cash, fleet management, building management, equipment and supplies inventories, and other assigned tasks and special projects. The primary area of responsibility assigned to this position is payroll and human resources, but will be cross-trained in other areas to provide superior customer service to the Department program staff. The ideal candidate will be a team player able to independently perform routine administrative tasks, solve problems, and demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy. Work is normally performed under the general or limited supervision of a higher-level professional or administrative position.</p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS</p> <p>This position requires qualified applicants to possess the following:</p> <ul> <li>· Graduation from high school or an equivalent recognized certification; minimum of two (2) years of experience in bookkeeping or related work. </li></ul> <p>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS</p> <p>Preferred qualifications include:</p> <ul> <li>· Experience using Advantage Financial System, </li><li>· Experience using MS Word/Excel, </li><li>· Experience using Crystal Reports, </li><li>· Experience preparing payroll using an automated payroll system (must specify on application), </li><li>· Experience with revenue receipt and processing receivable (RE) documents (must specify on application), and </li><li>· Experience processing invoices for payment (must specify on application). </li></ul> <p>Valid Florida Driver's License and PBC Risk Management Department driving history approval prior to appointment.</p>
