<p>Job Description</p> <p>An Events & Education Associate assists guests with making educated and confident shopping decisions through sharing the stories of the people and places behind Eataly's products as well as advising on food and beverage pairings. Reports to the Events and Storytelling Manager.</p> <ul> <li>Responds courteously to guest inquiries regarding availability, usage of products, the range of services, restaurant offerings, classes at La Scuola, recipe help and location of products throughout the market </li><li>Listens actively and asks questions to understand guests' needs and preferences; recommends food and beverage items </li><li>Develops comprehensive knowledge of Eataly's products through diligent participation in live and video training and active use of Eataly's product library </li><li>Communicates daily/monthly new information to Eataly teams </li><li>Prepares and executes product tastings and demonstrations </li><li>Interacts with Eataly teams and vendors, passing information on to Eataly's Buying, Private Events and Public Relations teams </li><li>Assists with events, such as feste and sagre, and tours for guests </li><li>Performs other duties as required or assigned </li></ul>
