<p>The Role: Meadow Brook School is seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and friendly individual to join our team as an Early Childhood School Secretary. This role supports the daily operations of our school and serves as a welcoming presence for families, students, staff, and visitors. Responsibilities Include:</p> <ul> <li>Handle sensitive information with confidentiality, including maintaining student cumulative files, correspondence, data entry, and filing systems </li><li>Maintain student records, including daily attendance and other data entry in PowerSchool </li><li>Monitor the school's video surveillance system </li><li>Manage interoffice and postal mail; answer and route phone calls professionally </li><li>Operate the school's intercom system and make announcements as needed </li><li>Greet and assist all visitors, ensuring a warm and professional reception </li><li>Support communication efforts including School Messenger updates </li><li>Maintain the school activity calendar </li><li>Handle daily lunch counts and reporting </li><li>Collaborate with the bus company to maintain accurate student bus assignments and routes </li><li>Assist with school year secretary duties and other clerical needs as directed Qualifications: </li><li>Experience with PowerSchool, Munis, Google Suite, and Microsoft Office </li><li>Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills </li><li>Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment </li><li>Professional, courteous, and proactive demeanor </li></ul> <p>This is a full-time, calendar-year position offering the opportunity to be part of a school community focused on early childhood education.
