<p>Position Summary</p> <p>This statewide project position is responsible for managing and providing technical assistance, training and oversight related to the most complex climate, clean energy, and sustainability grant programs. Additionally, this position supports the Climate Pollution Reduction Grant (CPRG) staff to ensure the program operates efficiently. The position is essential to helping subawardees interpret and understand guidance to ensure compliance with OSCE, federal, and state requirements. For more information, please view the complete position description.</p> <p>Salary Information</p> <p>The starting hourly rate for the Grants Specialist - Advanced position (schedule/range 07-03) will be $30.00 per hour - $40.50 per hour depending on qualifications and experience, plus excellent benefits. Pay for current state employees will be set in accordance with the Wisconsin State Compensation Plan.</p> <p>Job Details</p> <p>This position will require in and out-of-state travel for events, meetings, conferences, trainings, etc.</p> <p>Project positions are eligible for benefits, including paid holidays and accrual of paid leave time, but the incumbent does not attain permanent civil service status. The funding for this position is scheduled to end on May 31, 2027. The incumbent must be a Wisconsin resident.</p> <p>Due to the nature of the position, DOA will conduct background checks on applicants prior to selection. DOA does not sponsor work visas and is not an eligible OPT (Optional Practical Training) employer for F-1 international students. All persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States, and to complete the required employment eligibility form.</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Minimally qualified applicants will have experience with each of the following:</p> <ul> <li>Grants Administration and Management (i.e., issuing grant awards and developing application forms, monitoring program compliance, complying with reporting procedures and requirements, etc.). </li><li>Providing technical assistance, guidance, or training on program related processes and requirements to internal and external stakeholders. </li><li>Researching, interpreting, and applying state and federal laws and regulations, policies, procedures, or other complex documents. </li></ul> <p>In addition, well-qualified applicants will have experience with one or more of the following:</p> <ul> <li>Working with climate and clean energy grants, policies, or programs. </li><li>Extracting and analyzing accounting or financial data to synthesize information, draw conclusions, and generate reports. </li></ul> <p>How To Apply</p> <p>Apply online!
