<p>Hiring Site Civil Engineers for a top-tier nationally recognized employee-owner engineering firm with a strong very NYC footprint. Known for complex and environmental work across the metro area. Strong reputation with private and public agencies, a healthy project pipeline and are investing heavily in growing their technical teams.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Prepares the planning, design and permitting documents of renewable energy land development and infrastructure projects in close collaboration with Project </li><li>Personnel using engineering and design software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, etc.) and equipment; </li><li>Leads tasks associated with the preparation and modification of various engineering documents including reports, specifications, plans, cost estimates and designs for projects. </li><li>Writes and/or reviews draft reports, including feasibility studies, stormwater management reports, technical specifications, and utility reports; </li><li>Collaborates with team members on project tasks and assignments </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Experienced with Civil engineering, land development, and or stormwater </li><li>Proficient in Software: Civil 3D or AutoCAD, Revit is a PLUS </li><li>Experience with site/civil design, including site planning, grading, stormwater management, drainage, infrastructure, erosion and sediment control </li><li>Expertise in stormwater management design, hydrologic/hydraulic analysis and design, and SWPPP preparation </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Must have EIT and plans to get PE within a year </li><li>4+ years of prior relevant professional experience in site/civil design, including site planning, grading, storm water management, drainage, and soil erosion </li><li>Revit </li></ul> <p>Job Type & Location</p> <p>This is a Permanent position based out of Melville, NY.</p> <p>Pay and Benefits</p> <p>The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $110000.00/yr.</p> <p>Full benefits package, including medical, vision, dental, 401k match, PTO/holiday, tuition reimbursements and yearly bonuses.</p> <p>Workplace Type</p> <p>This is a hybrid position in Melville,NY.</p> <p>Application Deadline</p> <p>This position is anticipated to close on Apr 13, 2026.</p> <p>Diversity, Equity & Inclusion</p> <p>At Actalent, diversity and inclusion are a bridge towards the equity and success of our people.
