<p>ANNOUNCEMENT</p> <p>Southwestern Illinois College is accepting applications for the full-time administrative position of Construction Apprenticeship & Grant Coordinator.</p> <p>POSITION DESCRIPTION</p> <p>In accordance with the Mission and Values of Southwestern Illinois College, the Construction Apprenticeship and Grant Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the construction trades union apprenticeship credit program and the college's grant-funded pre-apprenticeship programming. This role is responsible for preserving and strengthening Southwestern Illinois College's existing partnerships with construction trade unions, professional and trade organizations, employers, and workforce development agencies; facilitating the articulation of DOL-registered apprenticeship programs into college credit and career pathways; and coordinating all operational aspects of the college's grant-funded pre-apprenticeship programs. This position requires travel within the district as needed.</p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ol> <li> <p>Bachelor's degree in an appropriate field discipline and 3 years of related work experience; OR an Associate's Degree in an appropriate field discipline and 5 years of related work experience is required.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience in the construction trades or DOL-registered apprenticeship is preferred.</p> </li><li> <p>Must successfully pass a criminal background check prior to hire.</p> </li></ol> <p>STARTING PAY AND HOURS</p> <p>Grade 3 on the Administrative Salary Scale, ranging from $52,150 to $65,200 per year.</p> <p>BENEFITS AND PERKS</p> <p>Benefit availability and eligibility may vary from the summary listed below.
