This includes sandwiches, salads, fresh fruit, cereal and a wide variety of beverages.</p> <p>JOB DESCRIPTION:</p> <ul> <li>Achieves desired results in all areas of responsibility through staff development and training programs, established methods, procedures and guidelines to maintain desired standards, and high quality service. Then, monitors results through inspection, evaluation and analysis. Makes changes if necessary to achieve end result. </li><li>Accountability for all team members for day to day and long term operations to include hiring, training and developing employees which includes coaching, mentoring and appropriate performance management up to and including separation. </li><li>Responsible for coordinating work flow during shift to meet business demands and ensure customer satisfaction. </li><li>Familiarization with all Harrah's Brand programs and systems. </li><li>Responsible for the overall integrity of daily operations, ensures compliance with all regulatory, internal control, and policies and procedures. </li><li>Builds guest relations through visibility to customer, soliciting/requesting feedback, and responding to guest concerns appropriately and professionally to resolve any issues. </li><li>Presents oneself as a credit to Harrah's and encourages others to do the same. </li><li>Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:</p> <ul> <li>College degree preferred. </li><li>2 years progressively more challenging role in operations, prefer leadership role in slots or beverage. </li><li>Proven problem solving skills required as demonstrated by the ability to respond calmly and make rational decisions when required. </li><li>Excellent customer relations skills. </li><li>Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations including ability to lift up to 75 lbs., and ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop and stack. </li><li>Good oral and written communication skills, must be fluent and literate in English. </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Successful or better performance against Performance Appraisal Standards. </li><li>Employee feedback - EOS/SFS, turnover results, Employee Relations issues. </li><li>Teamwork - ability to work collaboratively with other departments and leaders to complete property/corporate initiatives and effective day to day operations. </li><li>Compliance with all regulatory, governmental, and safety requirements. </li><li>Effective labor management to minimize overtime and ensure appropriate staff assignment to guest traffic flow. </li><li>Development of team to include completion of all required training and knowledge of all policies and procedures relating to their positions. </li><li>Ability to meet deadlines and effectively manage multiple priorities in a demanding work environment. </li></ul>
