Experience in housekeeping tasks and caring for the elderly or sick will make you a strong candidate.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Assist residents with personal care needs (such as dressing, grooming, using the bathroom, bathing/showering, walking/transferring) </li><li>Medication administration (following medication training class and nurse delegation under the supervision of the Nurse Manager) </li><li>Assist with resident meals, including serving, dining room setup/clean up </li><li>Provide light housekeeping assistance (dusting, taking out garbage, laundry, making beds, vacuuming) </li><li>Answer resident call lights promptly and assists as needed </li><li>Promote teamwork and have a positive attitude </li><li>Enjoys providing residents with outstanding customer service </li><li>Provide emotional support </li><li>Inform physicians or supervisors about uncommon events </li><li>Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency </li></ul> <p>Skills</p> <ul> <li>Proven experience as personal care assistant </li><li>Committed to health & safety </li><li>Able to do housework and cooking </li><li>Well-organized and reliable </li><li>Excellent communication and people skills </li><li>Positive and compassionate attitude </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <ul> <li>At least 1 year Caregiving in CBRF Assisted Living Facility or in Home Care Setting </li><li>CBRF Certifications or CNA State Certified </li><li>Applicants must be 18 years of age or older to apply for this position </li><li>Please note that this position is part-time with the potential for full-time growth in the future </li></ul>
