With on site training and succession plans, Taylor sets up employees for success.</p> <p>Competitive salary with bonus opportunity, plus full benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance; Short Term and Long Term Disability, tuition reimbursement, parental leave, 401k match, and other optional benefit coverages.</p> <p>BASIC FUNCTION:</p> <p>Develops and programs machine plan using parts drawing and sets-up, operates, and maintains numerically controlled machinery to machine a wide variety of metal and non-metal parts according to print specifications to meet plant and production standards.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES:</p> <ol> <li> <p>Analyzes part drawing, sketches, design data, blueprints, and production orders.</p> </li><li> <p>Determines the part program using the part process sheet.</p> </li><li> <p>Manually enters process sheet program.</p> </li><li> <p>Revises and makes program corrections as required.</p> </li><li> <p>Documents tape process sheets, tooling and tooling location, sets up instruction sheets, parts program tape files, etc.</p> </li><li> <p>Mounts workpiece, selects and installs tooling in sequence.</p> </li><li> <p>Sets-up and adjusts machine operation and tooling.</p> </li><li> <p>Starts machining operation observing numerical displays on control panel.</p> </li><li> <p>Over-rides controls to correct machine performance.</p> </li><li> <p>Retrieves parts.</p> </li><li> <p>Verifies conformance of parts to print specifications.</p> </li><li> <p>Insures adequate coolant flow and detects and remedies malfunctions when possible.</p> </li><li> <p>Keeps production records.</p> </li></ol> <p>OTHER DUTIES:</p> <ol> <li> <p>Performs preventive maintenance on equipment and machinery.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintains cleanliness of work area and follows safe practice rules.</p> </li><li> <p>Performs other miscellaneous duties as required.</p> </li></ol> <p>Education: One and one-half years commercial, vocational, or other specialized training beyond high school.</p> <p>Experience: Three to four years related work experience.</p> <p>Ability to read and program in various formats (M, G, Mazatrol, etc)</p>
