Interfaces with the warehouse personnel to measure and ensure inventory accuracy. Informs Purchasing of any out of balance discrepancies. </li><li>Negotiates and processes returns, credits and advance replacements as needed. </li><li>Ensures that all defective material is repaired or discarded per company guidelines within timelines established by the Materials Control Manager. </li><li>Ensures accuracy of requested count and part numbers requested for all material received and shipped via Tech's major carriers. </li><li>Continually thinks of best shipping methods to meet the customers' timelines while reducing waste or extra shipping costs. </li><li>Distributes product throughout Tech's complex as needed. </li><li>Complies with and strictly adheres to company safety guidelines and/or company safety policies in performing assigned job duties. </li></ul> <p>What you need as a Material Control Specialist</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or GED equivalent </li><li>Three years of warehouse experience utilizing computer techniques. </li><li>Experience with automated material transaction processing. </li><li>Two years' experience using computer systems, including MS Office. </li></ul> <p>We're an equal opportunity employer.
