<p>Position: Science Teacher</p> <p>Location: La Porte Junior High</p> <p>Job Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university </li><li>Valid Texas Teacher's Certificate in subject area assigned </li><li>Alternative Certification Program applicants must have passed content exam(s) to be eligible for employment </li></ul> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Specific knowledge of subject assigned </li><li>General knowledge of curriculum and instruction </li><li>Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior </li><li>Strong organizational, communications, and interpersonal skills </li></ul> <p>Salary:</p> <ul> <li>$61,000 for Beginning teacher with "0" years experience (based on 2024-2025 compensation plan) </li><li>Salary based on experience </li><li>$1,000 Master's Degree addenda </li><li>Additional $1,000 Doctorate Degree addenda </li></ul> <p>Pay Grade: Certified Instructional, 10 Duty Months</p> <p>Other Information:</p> <p>Apply online, including your letter of interest and resume.
