<p>The Supervisor of MLTC Contracted Vendors and Assessment Scheduling is responsible for the day-to-day oversight and management of contracted vendors performing UAS-NY assessments on behalf of Nascentia and for supervising the Assessment Scheduling team. This role ensures high-quality, timely, and compliant assessments in alignment with organizational standards, regulatory requirements, and member needs.</p> <p>Additionally, the Supervisor oversees the Scheduling and Mailing Coordinators under the guidance of the Regional Program Director and VP of Care Management. Acting as a liaison between the Assessment Team and Care Management ensures the smooth coordination of UAS-NY assessments, home evaluations, and other processes required to meet regulatory time frames.</p> <p>Collaboration with Care Management leadership is essential to promote efficiency, teamwork, effective communication, and job satisfaction within clinical and administrative operations.</p> <p>Job Responsibilities:</p> <p>Vendor Oversight:</p> <ul> <li>Manage and oversee contracted vendors performing UAS-NY assessments to ensure compliance with organizational standards and state regulations. </li><li>Monitor performance for quality, timeliness, and accuracy, addressing any deficiencies promptly </li><li>Conduct regular performance reviews and audits to evaluate vendor compliance and effectiveness. </li><li>Act as the primary point of contact for vendor-related issues and collaborate to resolve concerns effectively, including disputes and member complaints. </li><li>Organize and oversee vendor training and onboarding needs to ensure alignment with organizational policies and documentation standards </li><li>Responsible for monitoring and tracking the volume of assessments, ensuring appropriate distribution to vendors. </li><li>Work with care management leadership and teams to ensure smooth transitions from assessment to care management </li><li>Collaborate with health Plan IT and operational teams to resolve issues with data integration into Care Management and CRM systems. </li><li>Collaborate with vendors to address performance or workflow concerns. Act as a liaison between vendors and MLTC Care Management leadership to address operational needs and resolve issues. </li><li>Facilitate regular meetings and communication with vendors to maintain alignment and transparency. </li><li>Provide regular updates and reports to Health Plan leadership on vendor performance and key metrics. </li></ul> <p>Scheduling Coordinator Supervision:</p> <ul> <li>Direct oversight of the Scheduling and Mailing Coordinators team, affecting workflow handling, assessment prioritization, incoming and outgoing calls, and scheduling activities according to organizational standards and policies. </li><li>Monitor Assessment Nurse's calendars to ensure assessment productivity requirements are met daily/weekly. </li><li>Conducts performance appraisals of direct reports under the direction of the department Director and applies disciplinary measures as appropriate in collaboration with the Human Resources Department. </li><li>Understanding and executing operations processes within the team to achieve high efficiency, quality of service, and capability to present process improvement ideas to department leadership. </li><li>Working knowledge of department software </li><li>Direct collaboration with Assessment Team Supervisor, Referral Center leadership, and Care management leadership to ensure operational excellence in scheduling assessments. </li><li>Customer service excellence with internal and external stakeholders, including direct communication with applicants, members, and caregivers as required. </li><li>Work closely with department leadership to provide communication, follow-up, and issues with resolutions. </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Relevant experience of 2 years or more in Scheduling, Call Center, Healthcare, or similar </li><li>Management of direct reports, preferred </li><li>Valid New York State Drivers License </li><li>Proficiency with computer systems, working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Internet and various software applications. </li><li>Demonstrate ability to work independently and collaboratively with ability to adapt to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines. </li><li>Demonstrates discretion in handling confidential and sensitive information </li><li>Excellent communication skills, verbal and written. </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Speaking/visual/hearing ability enough to comprehend and express written/verbal communication. </li><li>Frequent sitting, standing, walking </li><li>Extended periods of computer use </li><li>Pushing, pulling, reaching, kneeling </li><li>Ability to lift and move objects up to 40 pounds </li><li>Hepatitis B Category II for the Hepatitis B Vaccine Program Employee who rarely has contact with blood and body fluids </li></ul> <p>Compensation & Benefits:</p> <p>Competitive Salary [This position is an S01 exempt position with a min-max rate of: $60,405 - $69,924/annually] with:</p> <ul> <li>Retention Bonuses </li><li>Internal Mentoring Program </li><li>401K with generous Employer match </li><li>On-Site Gym (free for all employees) </li><li>Potential Hybrid Position (Partial Work From Home) </li><li>Medical, Dental, Vision plans </li><li>Tuition Reimbursement </li><li>Partially funded HSA </li><li>Employee Recognition Platform </li><li>Paid Time Off, Holidays, Sick and Extended Sick Leave </li><li>Short/Long term Disability </li><li>Employee Assistance Program (EAP) </li><li>Much More! </li></ul> <p>_<strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong>__</strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></p> <p>About Nascentia Health:</p> <p>Nascentia Health is leading the way in home care, post-acute care, and long-term community health.
