We pride ourselves on maintaining a healthy team culture with work-life balance at the top of our priorities! https://iahcbolton.com/</p> <p>Veterinary Technician</p> <p>Integrative Animal Health Center in Bolton, MA</p> <p>$20-27 an hour (based on experience and licensure)</p> <p>WHAT YOU'LL DO</p> <p>Provide compassionate care to pet patients and their loved ones</p> <p>Keep accurate medical records in accordance with hospital policy</p> <p>Prepare and maintain the exam rooms and treatment areas</p> <p>Perform physical assessments and record your observations</p> <p>Keep furry friends calm and still during procedures (sometimes using chin scratches!)</p> <p>Prepare estimates for procedures and discusses financial commitments with clients</p> <p>Explain necessary follow-up and home care instructions</p> <p>Stock clinic treatment area and exam rooms, and inform inventory manager when supplies need to be ordered</p> <p>Assist the Veterinarian in medical, surgical, and dental procedures (be comfortable with blood draws; prepare patients for surgery; administer anesthesia; monitor patients during surgery and recovery; administer fluids)</p> <p>Care for all surgical materials and keep the operating room properly stocked and prepared for surgery</p> <p>Pharmacy skills, including protocols for filling in-house</p> <p>Sample collection and processing for in-house and reference labs</p> <p>Builds initial rapport and long term relationships with both pets and clients, successfully communicates plans and estimates to owners</p> <p>Communicates within the team, proactively advocating for their patient's need</p> <p>BENEFITS</p> <p>We're passionate about helping you reach your greatest pet-ential - both at work and at home.
