<p>Performs seasonal park maintenance duties including equipment operation tasks; does related work as required, may work unsupervised. This position will have multiple shifts available including weekends and/or 2nd shift possibilities.Work is performed under the general direction of the Parks Manager.(May not include all duties performed.)</p> <ul> <li> <p>Performs landscaping maintenance including but not limited to: mowing, trimming, cleaning, clearing, planting, watering, sweeping and painting</p> </li><li> <p>Cleans and sanitizes restrooms and shelters, collecting trash, picking up litter.  Cleans and moves materials and supplies</p> </li><li> <p>Carries out any assigned responsibilities relating to the City of Westerville Parks and Recreation Department as directed by supervisors</p> </li><li> <p>Cleans and maintains equipment and reports problems to supervisor</p> </li><li> <p>Required to work in a variety of adverse weather conditions</p> </li><li> <p>Performs other related duties as assigned.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to lift 50 lbs.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to develop a working knowledge of the current methods, materials, practices and tools used in the exterior maintenance of parks and recreation facilities.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to learn applicable safety practices.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to exercise good judgment and function within broad guidelines.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to present ideas and recommendations in a clear, concise manner.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work effectively with other City personnel and the public.</p> </li><li> <p>Valid Ohio Driver's License</p> </li></ul> <p>Statement on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion: At the City of Westerville, we share a commitment to a diverse, inclusive and equitable community.
