This role ensures safe, functional, and compliant environments that support high-quality patient care.</p> <p>In addition to core facilities responsibilities, the Facilities Manager provides support for organizational safety programs, including OSHA compliance, safety rounds, and emergency preparedness.</p> <p>The Facilities Manager partners closely with Clinic Leadership, Quality, IT, and external vendors to maintain efficient operations across multiple sites.</p> <p>Essential Job Duties</p> <p>Facilities Operations & Maintenance</p> <ul> <li>Oversee daily facility operations for all clinic and administrative locations. </li><li>Manage preventive maintenance schedules, work orders, and asset tracking through the CMMS. </li><li>Manage and oversee space planning, clinic refreshes, and small capital projects. </li><li>Conduct routine facility inspections to ensure safety, cleanliness, and functionality. </li><li>Maintain documentation for inspections, warranties, and service records. </li></ul> <p>Vendor & Contract Management</p> <ul> <li>Manage vendor activities, ensuring work meets quality, safety, and regulatory standards. </li><li>Ensure the scope of work is managed, and project timelines and budgets are on track. </li><li>Ensure contractors follow infection-control risk assessment (ICRA) requirements during construction or repairs. </li><li>Track contracts, warranties, and recurring service schedules. </li></ul> <p>Safety Program Support</p> <p>(Light safety responsibilities, not the primary Safety Officer)</p> <ul> <li>Assist with OSHA compliance activities, including hazard identification and corrective actions. </li><li>Participate in safety rounds and environmental walkthroughs with Clinic Leadership. </li><li>Support maintenance of life-safety systems (fire extinguishers, emergency lighting, eyewash stations). </li><li>Help track facility related safety incidents and follow up on facility-related corrective actions. </li><li>Provide input on safety policies and procedures related to facility operations </li></ul> <p>Emergency Preparedness Support</p> <ul> <li>Assist with implementation of the Emergency Operations Plan (EOP). </li><li>Support drills (fire, evacuation, disaster response) and ensure facility-related components are functional. </li><li>Maintain emergency supplies, generator readiness checks, and facility response procedures. </li><li>Coordinate with leadership during outages, severe weather, or facility disruptions. </li></ul> <p>Administrative & Communication Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Maintain facilities-related policies, procedures, and documentation. </li><li>Provide timely communication regarding outages, repairs, safety issues, and project updates. </li><li>Assist in the administration of insurance policies relating to Facilities. </li><li>Support onboarding and training for staff on facility use, safety basics, and emergency procedures. </li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support operational continuity. </li></ul>
