Here at Kuehne+Nagel, our Detroit site is looking for a new Sea Logistics LCL Gateway Specialist to join our SeaLogistics team.</p> <p>How you create impact</p> <p>The Sea Logistics LCL Gateway Specialist is responsible for delivering operational excellence and high-quality, efficient service. This role plays a critical part in coordinating Master-level (SACO) activities within the Operational Care Center (OCC).</p> <ul> <li>Processing accurate files by adhering to all policies and procedures, while maintaining real time visibility of shipments. </li><li>Drive outstanding performance of consolidated cargo container (SACO) related operations by coordinating with vendors and internal stakeholders. </li><li>Provide and oversee loading/unloading instructions at origin stations and destination. </li><li>Monitor, prioritize and balance customer specific needs daily by answering queries and requests through multi-channel communication streams. </li><li>Allocate and assign costs appropriately from the Master to House files, meeting KPI targets. </li><li>Collaborate with the Customer Care Locations (CCL) and Operational Care Centers (OCC) to ensure we deliver on their customer commitments by analyzing customer KPI reports in order to communicate and assist the Customer Care Locations (CCL) and Operational Care Centers (OCC) in implementing corrective and preventative actions. </li><li>Collaborate with the system process team to drive automation utilization related to Operational Care processes. </li><li>Review and process incoming invoices by acknowledging or disputing them within the accounting system (Acon New). </li></ul> <p>What we would like you to bring</p> <ul> <li>1+ years' experience in freight forwarding and supply chain management, with a strong focus on Sea Logistics </li><li>1+ years' Customer Service experience in a freight forwarding environment </li><li>1+ years' experience working in an office environment </li></ul> <p>What's in it for you</p> <p>At Kuehne+Nagel we strive daily to inspire, empower, and deliver not only to our customers, but also to ourcolleagues. Base salary is part of acompetitive total rewards package that includes health and welfare benefits, a 401k retirement savings plan,tuition reimbursement, and incentive compensation for eligible roles. Individual pay may vary from the target rangeand is determined by a number of factors including experience, skills, job location, internal pay equity, and otherrelevant business considerations.
