<p>The Highlander Charter School - Academic Support Provider</p> <p>The AmeriCorps members will serve in classrooms alongside a certified teacher during the school day and design and provide engaging, experiential learning activities during afterschool hours that bridge in school and out of school learning. Members will build safe and supportive relationships with students and engage them in school and during out of school time activities to develop lifelong learners. The goal is to decrease absenteeism and improve academic outcomes.
