<p>Employment Type:</p> <p>Part time</p> <p>Shift:</p> <p>Description:</p> <p>Schedule: Wednesday 43-930 Thursday 5-1130 Friday 430-930 sat 330-1130 Sunday 330-1130</p> <ul> <li> <p>Assumes accountability for managing delivery of care and patient safety</p> </li><li> <p>Appropriately educates and explains procedures to patients</p> </li><li> <p>Obtains and documents patient history and pertinent information</p> </li><li> <p>Insures proper identification of patient following NPSG guidelines (pt. name ,DOB)</p> </li><li> <p>Verifies and follows Doctor's orders</p> </li><li> <p>Provides for patient privacy</p> </li><li> <p>Produces quality diagnostic images for interpretation</p> </li><li> <p>Positioning / Technique / Sterile technique</p> </li><li> <p>Familiar with location of emergency equipment and medications to assist in treatment of contrast reactions and other emergencies</p> </li><li> <p>Adheres to infection control standards specific to patient care</p> </li><li> <p>Documents CT and PET/CT procedures in patient chart</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrates understanding of safety, health and morale needs of customers/co-workers by taking steps to ensure those needs are met</p> </li><li> <p>Prepares patient for procedures providing instructions to obtain desired results, gain cooperation and minimize anxiety</p> </li><li> <p>Operates medical imaging equipment properly and safely</p> </li><li> <p>Follows department standards for reporting malfunctions or problems</p> </li><li> <p>Maintains current knowledge of Meditech computer system.</p> </li><li> <p>Tracks all CT and PET/CT procedures to generate charge and create appropriate transcription shell</p> </li><li> <p>Properly operates computer and digital equipment</p> </li><li> <p>Operates consoles which provide the correct radiographic image required by the specifications of the examination</p> </li><li> <p>Follows CT procedures for biopsies and Interventional procedures</p> </li><li> <p>Selects and prepares proper equipment and supplies</p> </li></ul> <p>Our Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion</p> <p>Trinity Health is one of the largest not-for-profit, Catholic healthcare systems in the nation.
