<p>POSITION: Head Men's & Women's Tennis Coach</p> <p>DATE: April 27, 2026</p> <p>DEPARTMENT: Division of Athletics</p> <p>REPORTS TO: Director of Athletics</p> <p>JOB SUMMARY</p> <p>Nichols College, a member of NCAA Division III located in Dudley, Massachusetts, invites applications for a full-time, 12-month Head Men's & Women's Tennis Coach. This position is responsible for the leadership, organization, and administration of the tennis program, supporting both men's and women's teams.</p> <p>The Head Coach will work collaboratively with the Director of Athletics to establish vision, direction, and success of the program while fostering a positive student-athlete experience aligned with the mission and philosophy of NCAA Division III athletics.</p> <p>Salary Range: $55,000-$60,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.</p> <p>DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Recruit, attract, and retain qualified student-athletes aligned with institutional goals </li><li>Plan, organize, and conduct practices and competitions </li><li>Support and monitor student-athlete academic success and overall development </li><li>Manage program budget, equipment, and operational needs </li><li>Coordinate scheduling of practices and competitions </li><li>Provide coverage and supervision for all team-related activities </li><li>Engage in fundraising efforts and alumni outreach initiatives </li><li>Ensure compliance with NCAA, conference (CNE), and institutional policies </li><li>Meet recruiting and roster goals established by the Director of Athletics </li><li>Attend departmental, institutional, and conference meetings </li><li>Obtain and maintain institutional driving certification </li><li>Serve as an active and engaged member of the Division of Athletics </li></ul> <p>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree required </li><li>Experience in collegiate athletics (playing and/or coaching) </li><li>Demonstrated understanding and commitment to NCAA Division III philosophy </li><li>Strong knowledge of tennis fundamentals, techniques, and strategy </li><li>Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills </li><li>Ability to work effectively with diverse campus constituencies </li><li>Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to multitask </li><li>Proficiency with standard computer applications </li><li>Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record </li><li>Ability to perform light lifting and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends </li></ul> <p>BENEFITS</p> <ul> <li>Full-time, 12-month position </li><li>Comprehensive benefits package </li><li>Retirement contributions </li><li>Professional development support </li></ul> <p>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul> <li>Collegiate coaching experience </li><li>CPR/AED and First Aid certification </li></ul>
