<p>CENTRAL TITLE DIVISION</p> <p>Job Description:</p> <p>Are you a Closer with a sales focus/customer service mindset? Old Republic National Title Company is seeking a Commercial Escrow Officer who is responsible for closing commercial single-site transactions and commercial multi-site and multi-state refinance and sale transactions. Additionally, this role is responsible for accounting and escrow functions, answering inquiries from customers and staff on pending transactions. This role will be under the direct supervision of a Senior VP and Underwriting Counsel</p> <p>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Closing of commercial transactions including but not limited to preparation of settlement statements, review of escrow instructions, adhering to local closing customs, initiating wires and approving wires as needed, recording documents, trial balance maintenance.</p> </li><li> <p>Responsible for oversight of escrow assistant(s)</p> </li><li> <p>Support Title and Escrow Administrator as needed</p> </li><li> <p>Work with underwriting staff and Escrow Administrator on closing and post-closing functions</p> </li><li> <p>Coordinate local and national recordings</p> </li><li> <p>Manage post-closing escrows</p> </li><li> <p>Transaction accounting to include: payments to agents; payments to local offices, booking fees to NCTS office</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to prioritize, organize and handle multiple site projects and portfolios;</p> </li><li> <p>Be responsible for the management of revenue</p> </li><li> <p>Must be personable, positive and a professional representative of the Company</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work overtime as requested and approved by supervisor.</p> </li></ul> <p>KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:</p> <ul> <li> <p>3-5 years closing experience</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects</p> </li><li> <p>Strong attention to detail and organizational skills</p> </li><li> <p>Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook</p> </li></ul> <p>PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to perform under pressure and be flexible with disruptions throughout the workday </li></ul> <p>#LI-MB1</p> <p>The estimated pay range stated represents the typical pay range for this position or similarly employed employees or employees performing substantially similar work.
