<p>As a Data Analyst I work at Fanatics Betting & Gaming (FBG), within the Data organization. This Analyst will help build out our Risk Analytics team focusing on risk and regulations. Also, This Analyst will create insight into the growth of our business, partnering closely with the engineering, legal & compliance, accounting & finance and taxes.</p> <p>Building reporting that meets state, federal and international regulatory requirements as well as supporting internal business stakeholders are a top priority for this analyst, and other priorities include deeply understanding our business operations, identifying ways to improve operations and reduce risk, and supporting our business as it launches and grows.This senior analyst will lead several critical initiatives focusing on Accounting, Finance, and Taxes. They will also partner with the business teams, gather requirements and facilitate solution building to support the business initiatives for the teams as mentioned above.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Develop a strong understanding of Fanatics Betting and Gaming. </li><li>Develop a strong understanding of Sports Betting regulations, Accounting, Finances, and Taxes. </li><li>Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders in engineering, legal & compliance, accounting, finance, taxes, and external regulatory authorities. </li><li>Design and develop BI solutions according to industry best practices. </li><li>Be a hands-on analyst. </li><li>Gather and present insights metrics and activities to key stakeholders, becoming a trusted source of intelligence and advisory over time. </li><li>Remain current on technology and trends in data analytics and the sports betting & gaming world. </li><li>Must be open to occasional travel to Fanatics Betting & Gaming offices and other locations for conferences, events, meetings, and team building activities. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Basic analytical skills, with ability to extract data from prepared sources and transform it into both ad-hoc and structured continuous insights </li><li>Demonstrated ability to partner closely with engineers and stakeholders, earning trust and prioritizing relationships </li><li>Strong report writing skills with the ability to gather, evaluate and analyze relevant information while structuring material in a logical and coherent manner. </li><li>Ability working in high-growth environments </li><li>Highly outcome oriented and data driven. </li><li>Experience in reporting tools such as Tableau or PowerBI </li><li>Experience with data languages including SQL and R or Python, and tools like Tableau, Micro-strategy, Redshift, or Snowflake </li><li>Excellent influencing and problem resolution skills. </li><li>Positive and flexible attitude, a willingness to embrace new initiatives and develop expertise in the Operations function of the business </li></ul> <p>If you possess some of these skills but not all of them, we still encourage you to apply!</p> <ul> <li>Salary Range: $86,000-$120,000 per year, (actual salary will be determined in part by a successful candidate's geographic location)In addition to the base, bonus, and equity, full-time employees are eligible for Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, paid time off, and other benefits like GymPass, Pet Insurance, Family Care Benefits, and more.
