Recognizing and valuing exceptional talent, we're eager to discuss the exciting details of this bonus during our interview process.</p> <p>Schedule: Tuesday-Friday, or Mon, Wed, Thu, Fri; 8hr days.</p> <p>Job Summary</p> <ul> <li>Ensures that two points of patient identification is obtained, that patient is properly prepared, and obtains a relevant patient history. Reviews the patient's chart to obtain pertinent clinical history, test results and laboratory data as they apply to accurate interpretation of the ultrasound examination. </li><li>Explains exam to the patient taking into consideration physical and emotional needs; maintaining ethical standards (patient confidentiality, professional conduct, etc.). Completes OB scans effectively and efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of patient care possible in order to provide the most remarkable patient experience. Delivers patient care under scope of license/training </li><li>Utilizes universal precaution techniques as well as safety techniques specific to the patient's status. </li><li>Be knowledgeable in the operation of all equipment to be used during the workday. To notify appropriate personnel of equipment malfunctions and repairs needed </li><li>Cooperates with all personnel, promoting harmony within department </li><li>Maintains effective working relations and communication with departmental and other hospital personnel. </li><li>Executes paperwork and reporting functions as necessary for each patient exam. </li><li>Prepares the equipment, room and supplies necessary for each patient and regular daily use. Stock and supply room and general department area as needed. </li><li>May oversee and instruct various personnel and technology students within the department. </li><li>Acknowledges and participates in research programs, quality assurance, and quality improvement projects carried on in the department. </li><li>Remains flexible in all shift coverage and overtime situations as necessary. </li><li>Remains up to date on developments and trends in imaging techniques, procedures, and equipment.
