Our employees make all the difference in our success!</p> <p>Benefits day 1</p> <p>Schedule-Monday-Friday-8a-5p</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Responsible for the coordination and planning of therapeutic and recreational activities for the participants of the program. </li><li>Conduct an initial assessment and scheduled reassessment of all participants. </li><li>Develop specific therapeutic programs to include recreational and social activities. </li><li>Record, sign and date progress reports in the participant's medical record. </li><li>Develop, implement and supervise the Activity Program. </li><li>Plan and provide both group and individual activities. </li><li>Participate in Interdisciplinary Conferences, daily meetings and family conferences. </li><li>Serve as a resource to staff and coordinate volunteer activities at the center. </li><li>Document in participant medical record, including Plan of Care. </li></ul> <p>Knowledge & Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Excellent communication; via phone, email, and in person. </li><li>Should be able to work effectively in a team environment. </li><li>Skilled in arts and crafts. </li><li>Must be flexible to work in other locations if needed. </li></ul> <p>Required qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Recreation Therapy or related field, or combination of experience and education required. </li><li>Minimum two years' experience in a social or recreational program providing and coordinating services to a frail or elderly population within the past 5 years. </li><li>Certified Therapeutic Recreational Specialist (CTRS) or Activity Director Certification required. </li><li>Current CPR and First Aid certifications required. </li><li>Valid Florida Drivers' License with good record </li><li>Active BLS for healthcare professionals from the American Heart Association or Red Cross; Current employees must obtain by January 1, 2025. </li><li>Certification of completion of Alzheimer's Disease and Related Dementias Training through the Florida Department of Elder Affairs. </li><li>Automobile Insurance </li><li>Clear level 2 background check </li></ul> <p>Compensation Pay Range:</p> <p>$45,017.18 - $64,824.08</p> <p>This position requires consent to drug and/or alcohol testing after a conditional offer of employment is made, as well as on-going compliance with the Drug-Free Workplace Policy.</p>
