<p>Wor-Wic Community College continuously accepts applications for part-time instructors to teach courses in our Continuing Education and Workforce Development division, which includes subjects in Business, Construction/Trades, Hospitality, Technology, Transportation (including CDL), Healthcare, and much more.</p> <p>Part-time instructors in this category teach courses that support many continuing education and workforce development options for our non-credit students.</p> <p>WE ACCEPT APPLICATIONS HERE FOR: </p> <ul> <li> <p>Allied Health Instructors</p> </li><li> <p>Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Instructors</p> </li><li> <p>Dental Assistant Instructors</p> </li><li> <p>Medical Coding and Billing Instructors</p> </li><li> <p>CDL Instructors</p> </li><li> <p>Child Care Instructors</p> </li><li> <p>Computer and Technology Instructors</p> </li><li> <p>Driver's Education Instructors</p> </li><li> <p>Hospitality and Culinary Instructors and Assistants</p> </li><li> <p>Real Estate Instructors</p> </li><li> <p>Skilled Trades Instructors</p> </li><li> <p>Construction/Carpentry Instructors</p> </li><li> <p>Electrical Instructors</p> </li><li> <p>HVAC Instructors</p> </li><li> <p>Manufacturing/Soldering Instructors</p> </li><li> <p>Plumbing Instructors</p> </li><li> <p>Welding Instructors</p> </li><li> <p>Supervision and Leadership Instructors</p> </li><li> <p>And More...</p> </li></ul> <p>The following list is not intended as, nor should it be construed as, exhaustive of all responsibilities, skills or working conditions associated with these positions.</p> <ul> <li>Creates and manages an environment conducive to the student's learning of continuing education and workforce development course material </li><li>Prepares and uses course syllabi and selects textbooks when appropriate </li><li>Meets all scheduled classes </li><li>Maintains student classroom records, reports absences and collects written course evaluations </li><li>Assists with continuing education and workforce development registration when appropriate </li><li>Submits copies of course syllabi, as well as copies of tests and other materials provided to students, to the dean of continuing education and workforce development </li><li>Submits a list of students who have not met the requirements for continuing education and workforce development recognition documents to the dean of continuing education and workforce development within the established time frame each semester </li><li>Works with local professionals in his or her field of study </li><li>Performs other duties as assigned by the dean of continuing education and workforce development </li></ul> <p>This is an APPLICATION POOL. Applications will be reviewed, and positions will be filled based on department needs. This is not necessarily a job posting for a currently vacant position. Applications are always welcome in this category, and will be reviewed as needed. Applications received for this pool will remain active for two years. The pay range will vary, generally from $15.00 to approximately $45.00 per hour, based on the job and the successful candidate's qualifications and experience.
