<p>Title: Clerk of Court-Warren GDC</p> <p>State Role Title: Clerk of Court</p> <p>Hiring Range: $53,784</p> <p>Pay Band: UG</p> <p>Agency: Supreme Court</p> <p>Location: CSU 26 - Warren County</p> <p>Agency Website: www.vacourts.gov</p> <p>Recruitment Type: General Public - G</p> <p>Job Duties</p> <p>The Clerk of Court (Grade 12) is the chief administrative officer and is responsible for the management and application of court resources. Position includes authority over service to the public, financial performance, staffing, budgets, and case processing systems. Clerk monitors procedures to provide high quality customer service, comply with the law, and meet the needs of court and criminal justice agencies.</p> <p>The Clerk is responsible for financial management, staffing, budget development, efficient caseload processing, and courteous service to the public. In addition to supervisory and administrative responsibilities, the clerk is also an integral part of the workforce in case processing and all other tasks connected with the functioning of the office to provide timely public service.</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <p>A high school diploma is required: a college degree in public administration or a related field, or experience in the court system is preferred. In court, business, or office settings, experience at the supervisory or management level is preferred. Demonstrated knowledge and skills in public relations, human resources, recruitment, management, training and evaluation, computerized case management and word processing, and regulatory and statutory compliance are preferred.</p> <p>Additional Considerations</p> <p>The successful candidate will also have demonstrated competence in the areas of responsibility listed above and automated financial and records management systems, personal computers, and software applications.</p> <p>Special Instructions</p> <p>You will be provided a confirmation of receipt when your application and/or résumé is submitted successfully.
