These values are the cornerstone of Plastic Ingenuity.</p> <p>Role Summary:</p> <p>The Industrial Maintenance Technician or Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for the planning, completion and follow-up on preventive maintenance of physical plants and equipment. This role also performs emergency repair when needed to machinery and building.</p> <p>Personality and Interest Profile - You may enjoy this role if you are:</p> <ul> <li>Able to repair a variety of equipment. </li><li>Comfortable with rapidly changing priorities </li></ul> <p>Accountable for:</p> <ul> <li>Maintains a variety of production related equipment including grinders to tape machines. </li><li>Rebuilds, maintains or repairs a variety of shop equipment. </li><li>Completes HVAC, forklift, and other related projects when we do not have service agreements. </li><li>Works closely with contractors and equipment vendors for repairs, revisions and modifications. </li><li>Keeps inventory and works with purchasing for repair parts. </li><li>Operates and maintains the chilled water system, compressed air system, and vacuum system. </li><li>Assists in completing building and grounds maintenance. </li><li>Keeps work area and equipment in a safe operating condition and clean and orderly. </li><li>Completing preventive maintenance schedules. </li><li>Perform such other duties, projects and tasks as may be assigned. </li></ul> <p>Desired Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent </li><li>Attention to detail </li><li>Dexterity and the ability to work quickly and accurately </li></ul> <p>Physical Demands:</p> <ul> <li>Frequent lifting of 15-25 lbs/Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs./More than 50 lbs. require a team lift </li><li>Frequent repetitious tasks with upper extremities </li><li>Prolonged periods of standing on the concrete floor </li><li>Ability to correctly wear/use personal protective equipment, including long sleeves, as required </li><li>Climbing steps and/or ladders while working on elevated platforms </li></ul> <p>Plastic Ingenuity is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
