Our team loves to help make a difference for our clients and we are always looking to add resource and technology options to our offerings.</p> <p>We are currently looking to add a Human Resource/Benefits Assistant to our company, someone with an eye for detail and a love for systems and spreadsheets! If this sounds like you, please apply!</p> <p>Position Overview:</p> <p>The Human Resource/Benefits Assistant assists with and facilitates the benefits and human resource processes at all business locations for full-service, PEO and ASO clients. This role provides administrative support to the human resource and benefits function as needed, including record-keeping, audits, monthly report, invoice processing, file maintenance and HRIS/portal entries.</p> <p>The Human Resource/Benefits Assistant supports the daily operations of Afinida HR by helping to create a "Wow" experience when interacting with clients by consistently upholding the firms expectations. Tasked with administrating the support for our HR team, this role uses independent judgment and decision-making to support the delivery of customized Afinida Human Resource service solutions that positively impact our clients' businesses and result in retention and growth.</p> <p>This role is heavy on 401(k) administration tasks, audits, invoice processing and daily/weekly/monthly reporting.</p> <p>Supervisory Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>None </li></ul> <p>Duties/Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Provides support to the HR team, focusing on plan management; </li><li>Supports success of clients through the planning and administration of benefits programs; </li><li>Assists with the onboarding of new clients, client site visits and new policy roll-outs; </li><li>Partners with HR Consultants to schedule and coordinate updates and system updates; </li><li>Assists with formal presentations, including complex webinars and client trainings, in a clear, concise and logical sequence at a level appropriate to the audience; </li><li>Assists with project assignments and/or client data analysis; </li><li>Assists with managing client project management software; </li><li>Collaborates with internal departments to design customized client reports, solutions and occasionally communicates directly with clients; </li><li>Generates reports and invoices on regular basis for clients; </li><li>Processes employee benefit elections and changes; </li><li>Processes employee retirement elections weekly; </li><li>Processes retirement contributions weekly; </li><li>Enters, reviews and monitors customer relationship management system as required to ensure timely delivery of service activities; </li><li>Provides administrative support as required; </li><li>Communicates, endorses and models the Company vision; </li><li>Manages each service interaction in a positive, professional manager; </li><li>Builds, maintains and promotes effective, highly functional relationships with all internal customers; </li><li>Other duties as assigned as need by management. </li></ul> <p>Required Skills/Abilities:</p> <ul> <li>Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software; </li><li>Advanced proficiency with Excel specifically; </li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills; </li><li>Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills; </li><li>Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail; </li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; </li><li>Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate; </li><li>Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality; </li><li>Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations; </li><li>Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization's HRIS and talent management systems; </li></ul> <p>Education and Experience:</p> <ul> <li>1+ years' experience in a Customer Service or Business Administration role; </li><li>1+ years' experience with employee benefit plans; </li><li>3+ years' experience with Microsoft Excel; </li><li>One to two years minimum Human Resource or administrative experience with emphasis on HR preferred; </li></ul> <p>Physical Demands and Work Environment:</p> <ul> <li>While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and keyboard; </li><li>Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work; </li><li>Light to moderate lifting may be required; </li><li>Regular, predictable attendance is required; including quarter-driven hours as business demands dictate; </li><li>Moderate noise (i.e., business office with computers, phone, and printers, light traffic); </li><li>Ability to work in a confined area; </li><li>Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period. </li></ul> <p>Disclaimer:</p> <p>This Job Description is only a summary of the typical functions of the position or role, not an exhaustive or comprehensive list of all possible responsibilities, tasks, and duties.
