<p>Part-time Instructor, Plumbing JobID: 880</p> <p>Position Type:</p> <p>Part-time Instruction</p> <p>Date Posted:</p> <p>2/13/2026</p> <p>Location:</p> <p>Lemley Memorial Campus</p> <p>Additional Information: Show/Hide</p> <p>Position Description:</p> <ul> <li>Minimum of 3 years work experience with a professional residential or commercial plumbing company is required. </li><li>Valid Oklahoma Journeyman's or Contractor's License is required. </li><li>Must possess exceptional math skills and the ability to teach this knowledge to apprentice plumbers. </li><li>Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in training and teaching others. </li><li>Knowledge of methods, tools, and equipment used in the installation and maintenance of electrical systems in residential and commercial buildings </li><li>The work schedule for this position requires flexibility to work two nights per week, 6 - 10pm, as scheduled throughout the spring, summer and fall semesters </li></ul> <p>Essential Job Functions for all ACD Instructors:</p> <ul> <li>Demonstrate extensive knowledge of and experience in the appropriate subject matter. </li><li>Instruct students in competency-based program curriculum using current instructional strategies appropriate to the subject matter to assure highest quality classroom instruction. </li><li>Effectively manage the classroom to create an optimal learning environment. </li><li>Maintain up-to-date records of student attendance, academic progress and grades as required by district policy and certification/regulatory agencies. </li><li>Ensure syllabus, supply list and lesson plans are current prior to each class taught. </li><li>Demonstrate effective people skills, communication skills and professionalism (i.e. prepared, reliable, responsible, punctual, etc.) </li><li>Demonstrate an understanding of and commitment to the mission and goals of Tulsa Tech's ACD program. </li><li>Participate in professional development opportunities as required by the ACD department. </li><li>Perform all other duties as may be assigned by management from time to time. </li></ul> <p>Education:</p> <p>High School Diploma or equivalent.</p> <p>Shift:</p> <p>Evening</p> <p>Salary Schedule:</p> <p>Standard rate schedule for non-regular (temporary, adjunct, substitute) and regular part-time employees</p> <p>Hiring Range:</p> <p>$40 per hour</p> <p>Benefits:</p> <p>N/A</p> <p>Closing Date:</p> <p>For maximum consideration, receipt of application material is February 20, 2026.
