As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and providing excellent customer service.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Prepare and serve coffee and tea beverages to customers </li><li>Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee shop </li><li>Provide exceptional customer service and engage with customers </li><li>Operate coffee equipment and ensure proper maintenance </li><li>Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies </li><li>Follow health and safety guidelines </li></ul> <p>Skills and Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Previous experience in a barista or customer service role is preferred </li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills </li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment </li><li>Basic math skills for handling cash and transactions </li><li>Passion for coffee and willingness to learn about different brewing methods </li><li>Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Must be a GU Student in 6+ credit hours </li><li>Experience in food service management, preferably in a coffee shop or restaurant setting. </li><li>Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices. </li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. </li><li>Strong organizational and time management skills. </li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team. </li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office and point-of-sale systems. </li></ul>
