Specific activities may change from time to time.</p> <ol> <li> <p>Manage an Operational Risk Management Program (RCSA, Internal Events, External Events, Scenario Analysis, Fraud and/or Process Inventory Management) which support proactive management of operational risk, as well as ongoing efforts to ensure efficient development and execution of sound risk management practices and high-quality results.</p> </li><li> <p>Serve as an operational risk expert and coach to risk managers on higher risk and moderate to complex assignments.</p> </li><li> <p>Promote operational risk awareness across Truist, to include training activities and communication.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure operational risk management programs are continually evaluated, enhanced, aligned with industry trends, and meet regulatory expectations</p> </li><li> <p>Organize, coordinate, and manage work of resources within ORM and support the development and growth of teammates through on-going coaching and mentorship</p> </li><li> <p>Develop and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders in all Business Units and second line functions</p> </li><li> <p>Drive a strong enterprise risk culture that aligns to Truist's purpose, mission, and values by fostering rigor and discipline focused on risk and compliance awareness, ethical business practices, transparency and escalation.</p> </li><li> <p>Responsible for salary administration, performance assessment, coaching, team member selection, training, and career development of staff.</p> </li></ol> <p>Required Qualifications:</p> <p>The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.</p> <ol> <li> <p>Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.</p> </li><li> <p>Twelve+ years of banking or risk management experience with subject matter expertise managing Operational Risk Management Programs.</p> </li><li> <p>Five years of management experience that includes direct supervisory responsibility.</p> </li><li> <p>Possess and demonstrate expert Operational Risk Management knowledge, leadership and decision-making skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong analytical and organizational skills and extensive experience designing, developing, implementing and executing risk management programs</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with multiple stakeholders, interact effectively with all levels of management, and effect and influence change in a dynamic environment</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present issues, observations, and recommendations</p> </li><li> <p>Adept with Microsoft Office products.</p> </li></ol> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Advanced Quality Assurance & Testing Capability that demonstrates experience performing high-quality QA reviews, control testing, and audit-aligned assessments within a risk and/or compliance environment.</p> </li><li> <p>Proven ability to evaluate control design and operating effectiveness, identify emerging themes, and deliver well-supported recommendations that strengthen operational risk management practices.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong Business Acumen & Senior-Leader Communication demonstrated by the ability to communicate clearly and confidently with directors, senior management, and cross-functional partners, translating complex testing results into concise, actionable insights.</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrated capability to serve as a point of escalation and act as delegate during leadership absence, ensuring continuity, accuracy, and timely execution of deliverables.</p> </li><li> <p>Operational Oversight in a Dual-Shore QA Model; proven experience coordinating or overseeing the day-to-day activities of an onshore/offshore QA testing team, including workflow management, quality calibration, documentation standards, and process improvements.</p> </li><li> <p>Skilled at maintaining testing consistency and fostering a disciplined, well-controlled QA environment aligned to second-line operational risk expectations.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience working for or with (significant interactions) regulatory agencies (FRB, OCC, FDIC).</p> </li><li> <p>Experience in establishing new Corporate operational risk programs or initiatives.</p> </li></ul> <p>General Description of Available Benefits for Eligible Employees of Truist Financial Corporation: All regular teammates (not temporary or contingent workers) working 20 hours or more per week are eligible for benefits, though eligibility for specific benefits may be determined by the division of Truist offering the position.
