<p>You are required to submit your resume as an attachment with your online employment application.</p> <p>What You'll Do:</p> <p>Responsibilities of the Senior Financial Analyst include but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Serves as lead worker in the Office of Finance-Claims. </li><li>Researches and analyzes complex information to resolve errors, modify data and/or determine appropriate action. </li><li>Researches and analyzes complex Claims and financial information related to Super Retailers and Mobile Cashing to resolve errors and determine appropriate action. </li><li>Resolves errors with Super Retailers and Mobile Cashing resulting in out of balance conditions. </li><li>Responds to Super Retailer questions and communications, provides assistance and support, and resolves financial errors and issues. </li><li>Conducts Super Retailer training. </li><li>Assists with set up of Super Retailers. </li><li>Resolves errors in the Claims batch process and works with Office of Information Technology and vendors to determine appropriate action to correct errors. </li><li>Serves as department liaison to Office of Information Technology for Claims Information System changes, updates, and issues. </li><li>Serves as departmental liaison to troubleshoot financial issues, questions and communications related to Prizewinner Annuity Trust meetings. </li><li>Serves as liaison to troubleshoot Claims department financial issues, questions and communications. </li><li>Gathers and synthesizes data from multiple financial sources to create reports. </li><li>Assists supervisor in updating and recommends changes in fiscal policy and procedures that impact Claims. </li><li>As the lead worker, provides work direction and training to Claims Financial Analysts and Financial Associates. </li><li>In backup capacity and on as needed basis, performs other related accounting duties. </li><li>Uses various software programs to complete daily job responsibilities. </li><li>Performs other duties and works on special projects. </li></ul> <p>42 months experience or 42 months training in accounting &/or finance to include an advanced level of experience in spreadsheet software.</p> <ul> <li>Or completion of undergraduate core program in business administration, accounting, finance or related field; 18 months experience or 18 months training in accounting &/or finance to include an advanced level of experience in spreadsheet software. </li><li>Or completion of graduate core program in business administration, accounting, finance or related field; 6 months experience or 6 months training in accounting &/or finance to include an advanced level of experience in spreadsheet software. </li><li>Or 12 months experience as Financial Analyst, 66562. </li><li>Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above. </li></ul> <p>NOTE: Successful completion of the Fiscal Academy may be substituted for 4 months of required accounting/fiscal experience referenced in this portion of the minimum qualifications.</p> <p>Job Skills: Accounting and Finance, Customer Service, Interpreting Financial Statements, Mathematical Ability, Analyzation, Attention to Detail, Teamwork</p>
