(Experience does not replace minimum educational level attained)</p> <p>Job Summary</p> <p>The Office Manager provides critical administrative, operational, project management, financial, and leadership support for the Advising unit with the Highlander Success Center at Radford University to advance advising and student success initiatives.</p> <p>This position reports directly to the Director of University Advising providing managerial assistance. The office manager ensures the efficient and effective administration of business functions working with a diverse group of stakeholders, including supervising one staff member, and some work study students.</p> <p>The office manager plays a key role in unit budget management, purchasing, travel, operational efficiency, advising website editing, project coordination, and reimbursements. This position also accurately prepares and processes personnel actions for professional staff and students. Follows university/state policies and procedures and utilizes various databases and electronic systems. Manages office equipment maintenance and maintains office supplies.
