Join our committed team and help shape the future we envision.</p> <p>Summary</p> <p>Cancer Researcher_ Immuno-Oncology</p> <p>Clinical and translational research projects involving clinical trials and biomarker studies in the field of Immuno-Oncology, investigating the role of promising biomarkers in relation to disease risks, immunotherapeutic clinical benefits, mechanisms of resistance and treatment toxicity risks (including cytokine therapy, immune checkpoint inhibition and neoantigen vaccines).</p> <p>Position Highlights:</p> <ul> <li>Participates in innovative research projects in Immuno-Oncology. </li><li>Participates fully in the educational activities of the program. </li><li>Benefits from the mentorship of national leaders in cancer research. </li></ul> <p>The Ideal Candidate:</p> <ul> <li>Is an MD or MD, PhD seeking 1-2 years of clinical and translational research experience </li><li>Would like to conduct research projects both independent and under supervision </li></ul> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Records, compiles, and analyzes experimental data. Generates presentation-ready processed data (e.g., graphs and tables) under appropriate supervision. </li><li>Learn research techniques that directly relate to the program's scientific projects and goals </li><li>The Cancer Researcher will be responsible for assisting with cancer research activities as well as conducting independent research projects when appropriate under limited supervision. </li><li>Tasked with initiating, conducting, evaluating and reporting of clinical and translational cancer research studies under appropriate supervision. </li><li>Tasked with generating presentation-ready processed data (e.g., graphs and tables) related to cancer research projects under appropriate supervision. </li><li>Tasked with learning research techniques that directly relate to the program's scientific projects and goals and applying these techniques to specific cancer research projects. </li><li>Interact closely with the supervising Investigator and other researchers within the Investigator research group and conduct relevant data background research including literature searches and reviews. </li><li>Participate in and contribute to the educational activities of the program to include but not limited to journal clubs, case studies, educational and research meetings, core lectures. </li></ul> <p>Credentials and Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>MD, Doctor of Osteopathy or equivalent degree required </li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. </li><li>Demonstrated working knowledge of research methodologies in applied research. </li><li>Experience in initiating, conducting, evaluating and reporting of clinical/translational research studies is preferred. </li></ul> <p>Moffitt Team Members are eligible for Medical, Dental, Vision, Paid Time Off, Retirement, Parental Leave and more.
